THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Godfrey Kimani Kamau (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.5 acre or thereabouts, situate in district of Kiambu, known as Dagoretti/Kinoo/554, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 1749 of 2010, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Eva Njeri Muiru, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the said Godfrey Kimani Kamau (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42, and issue land title deed to the said Eva Njeri Muiru, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Godfrey Kimani Kamau (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
