THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS James Waweru Njuki (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 0.06 hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as Kabete/L. Kabete/T.488, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Kiambu in Succession Cause No. 173 of 2017, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Livingstone Gitau Waweru, and whereas the said title deed issued earlier to the said James Waweru Njuki (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed to the said Livingstone Gitau Waweru, and upon such registration the said land title deed issued earlier to the said James Waweru Njuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
