THE PHYSICAL AND LAND USE PLANNING ACT

(No. 13 of 2019)

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 47 and 54 of the Physical and Land Use Planning Act, and section 38 of Urban Areas and Cities Act, Notice is given that the Board of Kapsabet Municipality intends to revise Kapsabet Municipality Integrated Development Plan (2020- 2024) starting on the 9th December, 2025. The purpose of the plan is to bind, guide and inform developments and decisions of the Municipality for a period of 5 years The objectives of the plan are to provide basis for: (a) Resource allocation and utilization. (b) Development control. (c) Physical and Social infrastructure development. (d) Improvement of local economic growth and development. (e) Sectorial co-ordination and linkage. (f) Environmental protection and conservation. The plan preparation process will be participatory. All stakeholders are invited to make their comments/suggestions and enquiries by writing to: the County Executive Committee Member in charge of Physical and Land Use Planning, P.O. Box 802, Kapsabet, not later than twenty-one (21) days from the date of this publication. Dated the 19th November, 2025.
