THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Emma Wanjiru Maina (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, containing 1.33 hectares or thereabout, known as Loc 2/Mariira/1542, situate in the district of Murang’a, and whereas in the High Court of Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 2868 of 1998, has issued a grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) David Ndungu Maina, of P.O. Box 55, Sabasaba in the Republic of Kenya, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the said land title deed issued thereof has been lost, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document, and upon such registration the land title issued to the said Emma Wanjiru Maina (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
