THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Francis James Ndirangu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Laikipia Ngobit Supuko Block 2/836 (Wiumiririe), situate in the county of Laikipia, and whereas in the Chief Magistrate’s Court at Nanyuki in Succession Cause No. E61 of 2022, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Mercy Wakuthii Ndirangu as administrator, and whereas the said Mercy Wakuthii Ndirangu as administrator has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39, and whereas the land title deed of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39 in the name of said Mercy Wakuthii Ndirangu as administrator, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Francis James Ndirangu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
