THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Ibui Ikiara (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.80 hactares or thereabout, situate in the district of Meru, known as Abothuguchi/Ruiga/619, and whereas the High Court of Kenya in Succession Cause No. E71 of 2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Lucy Kinya M’Ibui (ID/4480013), and whereas the said court has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19, and whereas the said land title deed in respect of Ibui Ikiara (deceased) is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission R.L. 19 in the name of Lucy Kinya M’Ibui (ID/4480013), and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Ibui Ikiara (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
