THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Karanja Kiarii (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 3.4 acres or thereabout, known as Limuru/Ngecha/127, situate in the district of Kiambu and whereas the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Limuru in Succession Cause No. 217 of 2018, has issued grant of letters of administration to (1) Hannah Njoki Karanja and (2) Lucy Muthoni Karanja, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to Karanja Kiarii (deceased) has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument and R.L. 39 and R.L. 42 and issue land title deed to (1) Peter Njogu Mwicihi, (2) Joseph Ndungu Mbugua, (3) Hannah Njoki Karanja and (4) Lucy Muthoni Karanja, and upon such registration, the land title deed issued earlier to the said Karanja Kiarii (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
