THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Josephat Concestar Abiha Buluku alias Josephat Buluku (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 1.3 hectares or thereabout, known as North Maragoli/Gavudia/578, situate in the Sub-county of Sabatia, and whereas in the Senior Principal Magistrate’s Court at Vihiga in Succession Cause No. E438 of 2024, has issued letters of administration in favour of Janety Kaleha Teddy, and whereas the said Janety Kaleha Teddy has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in respect of the said piece of land, and whereas the land title deed is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed, and proceed with the registration of application to be registered as proprietor by transmission in favour of Janety Kaleha Teddy, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to Josephat Concestar Abiha Buluku alias Josephat Buluku (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
