PURSUANT to Standing Order No. 26 (3) of County Assembly of Kitui Standing Orders, it is notified for information of the Members of the County Assembly and the general public that the Speaker of Kitui County Assembly pronounces Monday, the 20th January, 2025, as a day for special sitting at the County Assembly Chambers, County Assembly Buildings, in Kitui at 9.00 a.m. The specified County Assembly business to be transacted at the sitting shall be tabling of proposed nominees for the Selection Panel to select suitable candidates for appointment as— County Secretary, County Attorney and Board Secretary to the County Public Service Board and commit the same to Select Committee for vetting purposes. Accordingly, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly to be transacted during the special sitting, following which the House stands adjourned until Tuesday, 11th February, 2025.
