APPROVAL

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred under section 4 (1) of the Kiambu County Alcoholic Drinks Control Act, 2024, and in line with the provisions of section 80 of the Act, the County Executive Committee Member makes the following directives: 1. It is directed that all pending applications for license will be reviewed as earlier provided under the Kiambu County Alcoholic Drinks Control Act (Revised 2022) pending the constitution of the Ward Committees as provided under the Kiambu County Alcoholic Drinks Control Act, 2024. 2. The Committees as earlier constituted under the Kiambu County Alcoholic Drinks Control Act (Revised 2022) will conduct inspections, review of applications and subsequent grant/approval or rejection of application for license pending the constitution of the Ward Committees as provided under the Kiambu County Alcoholic Drinks Control Act, 2024. 3. This directive applies to any appeals for review of decisions in respect of an application for license. Dated the 8th January, 2025. M.
