THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(Cap. 300)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Syokau Kitungu (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 15.5 hectares or thereabout, situate in the district of Kitui, known as Mutonguni/Kauwi/779, and whereas as in the Chieg Magistrate’s Court at Kitui in Succession Cause No. 101 of 2019, has issued letters of administration in favor of (1) Japheth Kyalo Kitungu, (2) Patrick Masai Joseph and (3) Justus Muli Joseph, and whereas the said (1) Japheth Kyalo Kitungu, (2) Patrick Masai Joseph and (3) Justus Muli Joseph, have executed land application to be registered as proprietors by transmission L.R.A. 39, and whereas the land title deed issued earlier to Syokau Kitungu (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said title deed and proceed with the registration of the said L.R.A 39, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Syokau Kitungu (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
