THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA THE CO-OPERATIVES SOCIETIES ACT

(Cap. 490)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS I am of the opinion that Mandera Handicraft Co- operative Society Limited. CS/2725, should be dissolved pursuant to section 62 (1) (c) of the Co-operative Societies Act, I cancel the registration of the said Society and order that it be liquidated. Note that its cancelation order takes effect immediately. Any member of the Society may within thirty (30) days of this order appeal to the honorable Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Co-operative Development against the cancellation order. Further pursuant to section 65 of the said Act, I appoint John Ndungi, County Co-operative Commissioner, Mandera, of P.O. Box Number 63-70300, Mandera, to be a liquidator for a period not exceeding one (1) year and authorize her of take unto her custody all the properties of the said society including such books and documents as are deemed necessary for the completion of the Liquidation exercise.
