NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly that pursuant to standing order 32 of the Makueni County Assembly Standing Orders, on the request of the Leader of the Majority party, it is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly and the general public that there will be special sittings of the County Assembly which shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, in Wote on Monday, 6th April, 2020 at 9.30 a.m. and Tuesday, 7th April, 2020, 9.30 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. The business to be transacted during the special sitting shall be the consideration and approval of: (a) The Report of the Budget and Appropriations Committee on Consideration of the FY 2019/2020 Supplementary Budget (3) estimates. (17) The Makueni County Supplementary Appropriation Bill (3), 2020. (c) Report of the Committee on Appointments on the vetting of the nominee for appointment to the position of County Secretary. In accordance with standing order 32 of the County Assembly Standing Orders, the business specified in this notice shall be the only business before the County Assembly during the special sittings, following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned until Tuesday, 14th April, 2020 at 2.30 p.m. in accordance with the Resolution of the County Assembly made on Wednesday, 18th March, 2020.
