NOTICE is given to the public that the Governor of Nairobi City County Government has, pursuant to Executive Order No. 1 of 2020 and Executive Order No. 2 of 2020, waived the requirement to obtain the Single Business Permit and associated fees for all new business registeredfincorporated for the next two (2) years (24 months), effective from 1st March. 2020. The objective of the waiver is to streamline Business Registration Process in reducing the number of procedures and cost especially for starting small and medium scale businesses and make the City and the Country more attractive and Competitive Investment Destination. This waiver is aimed at promoting the President's Big 4 Agenda and his commitment on Access to Government Procurement Opportunities (AGPO) for the Youth, Women and Persons with Disabilities. A valid Certificate of Registration/Incorporation or Business name issued by the Business Registration Service shall serve as Business Permit during the first two years of registration for purposes of enforcing this order.
