THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Isaac Muthure Macharia, (2) Stanley Makena Theuri, (3) Lucy Wanja Gichuku and (4) Stella Murugi Gichuku, as the administratix of the estate of (1) Stephen Macharia Gichuku (deceased), (2) Samuel Maina Kariuki, (3) Charles Njuru Kihara and (4) Veronicah Wangari Njuru, all of P.O. Box 50854-00200, Nairobi in the Republic of Kenya, are registered as proprietors of all that piece of land known as L.R. No. 36/VII/125 (Original No. 66/10), situate in the city of Nairobi in Nairobi Area, by virtue of a certificate of title registered as I.R. 5034/1, and whereas the land register in respect thereof is lost/destroyed and efforts made to locate the said land register have failed, and whereas the proprietor has indemnified the Government of the Republic of Kenya against all claims that may be made after reconstruction of the register, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof, I intend to proceed with the reconstruction of the property register as provided under section 33 (5) of the Act, provided that no objection has been received within that period.
