ESTABLISHMENT

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 31 (d) of the County Governments Act, 2012, which provides that, "the Governor shall have such powers as may be necessary for the execution of the duties of the office of the Governor" and further to the provisions of the Gazette Notice Number 2090 of 15th April, 2016 which spells out the guidelines on the establishment of the Audit Committee, I, Major (Rtd.) Dr. Dhadho Gaddae Godhana, appoint the following members to the Tana River County Audit Committee: Uruji Japhet Daiddo Jacob Barisa Jarha Maryleen Haluva Doyo Ibrahim Hassan Hindada Samuel Mweri Baya Francis Ndegwa Ngigi. The terms of reference of the Committee shall include, but not limited to: (a) Driving the assessment of the performance of the head of internal audit. (b) Examining internal and external audit reports and recommendations after management response to ensure action is taken. (c) Doing all that appertains to audit and offering advisory services to the Governor and to the relevant County Officials. GODHANA GADDAE DHADHO, MR/0781932 Governor.
