GAZETTE NOTICE NO. 3759

NOTICE is given that I, Abdi Ibrahim Hassan, Governor, Isiolo County, have appointed the following persons to be members of the Selection Panel for the Recruitment of two (2) Members of the Board of Directors of Isiolo Water and Sanitation Company Limited (IWASCO): THE KENYA GAZETTE 28th March, 2024 Ahmed Boru Shone—Chairperson; Hussein Jama; Salma Abdi Boru; Abdighfer Ismail (Eng.); and Florence Kainda Nthiga. The terms of reference of the Selection Panel will be to— (a) formulate and undertake the advertisement of two (2) vacancies in the Board of Directors of Isiolo Water and Sanitation Company Limited and receive applications in respect of the said vacancy; (b) undertake the long listing and short listing of the applications received under paragraph (a) above; (c) prepare and publish the interview schedule of the candidates shortlisted for the stated vacancies; and (d) conduct the interviews of the shortlisted applicants and thereafter forward the names of the successful applicants to the County Governor for appointment. In the performance of its task, the Selection Panel— (a) shall regulate its own procedure; (b) may co-opt not more than two (2) other persons who possess relevant expertise and skills where it considers necessary; and (c) shall submit a final report to the Governor at the end of its term. The Selection Panel shall finalize its task within a period of thirty (30) days from the date of this notice. Dated the 19th March, 2024.
