APPOINTMENT

IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to the provisions of section 14 of the Urban Areas and Cities (Amendment) Act, 2019, the following persons have been appointed as board members to the Kitale Municipal Board, for a period of five (5) years, on a part time basis. Wilberforce Sikuku Wamalwa, David Wambia Lumbasi, Alice Waruguru Mwai, Victor Recha Simiyu, Daniel Kaburu, Janet Kemunto Onteri. Consequently, Wilberforce Sikuku Wamalwa and Alice Waruguru Mwai have been elected as the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Board in line with the provisions of Clause 11 and 13 of the Municipal Charter of the Municipality of Kitale.
