THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT
(No. 3 of 2012)
REGISTRATION
WHEREAS Alexandra Elelyn Kirkland (deceased), is registered as
proprietor of all that piece of land known as Daiga Umande Block
2/5070 (Mwireri), situate in the district of Laikipia, and whereas in the
Chief Magistrate’s Court at Mombasa in Succession Cause No. E79 of
2023, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of
confirmation of grant in favour of Michael James Kirkland as
administrator, and whereas the said of Michael James Kirkland
(administrator) has executed an application to be registered as
proprietor by transmission L.R.A. 39, and whereas the land title deed
of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration
of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection
has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the
production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of
the said application to be registered as proprietor by transmission
L.R.A. 39 in the name of said Michael James Kirkland as
administrator, and upon such registration the land title deed issued
earlier to the said Alexandra Evelyn Kirkland (deceased), shall be
deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
