THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Maritim arap Songol (deceased), is registered as proprietor in absolute ownership interest of that piece of land situate in the district of Nandi, known as Nandi/Chepkongony/1406, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Kapsabet in succession cause No. 226 of 2022, has issued letters of administration in favour of Rebecca Jerobon, and whereas all efforts made to recover the land title deed and be surrendered to the Land Registrar for cancellation have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the registration of the said instrument of transmission and issue of land title deed to the said Rebecca Jerobon, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Maritim arap Songol (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
