THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Samuel Aoko Waihaya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land containing 2.4 hectares or thereabout, known as Kisumu/Kadero Got Nyabondo/3581, situate in the district of Kisumu, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Kisumu has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favor of Jackson Odongo Aoko, whereas the said administrator has executed an application to be registered as proprietor by transmission of L.R. 19, and whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the land title deed issued thereof is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said application to be registered L.R. 19 in the name of Jackson Odongo Aoko, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Samuel Aoko Waihaya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
