THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Joseph Otieno Oneya (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land situate in the district of Siaya, known as East Gem/Nyamninia/224, and whereas the Chief Magistrate’s Court of Kenya at Siaya in succession Cause No. E80 of 2022, has ordered that the said piece of land be registered in the name of (1) Macreen Oneya Onege, (2) Anne Marcella Omolo, (3) Janet Odera Otieno and (4) Judith Otieno Wajewa, and whereas all the efforts made to recover the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said grant document and issue land title deeds in the name of (1) Macreen Oneya Onege, (2) Anne Marcella Omolo, (3) Janet Odera Otieno and (4) Judith Otieno Wajewa, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Joseph Otieno Oneya (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
