THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION
WHEREAS James Gitu Gituto (deceased), is registered as
proprietor of all hose pieces of land containing 0.781 and 0.101
hectare or thereabouts, situate in the district of Kiambu, known as
Sigona/633 and 634, respectively, and whereas in the High Court of
Kenya at Nairobi in Succession Cause No. 1685 of 2005, has issued
grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of
grant to Mercy Wairimu Gitu, and whereas the said land title deeds
issued earlier to the said James Gitu Gituto (deceased), have been
reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of
sixty (60) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has
been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the
registration of the said instruments of transmission of L.R.A. 39 and
L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deeds to the said Mercy Wairimu Gitu,
and upon such registration the land title deeds issued earlier to the said
James Gitu Gituto (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of
no effect.
