THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Samuel Wandati Chitayi alias Samwel Benson Wandati Chitayi (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land, situate in the district of Kakamega, known as Marama/Shirotsa/59, and whereas as the Principal Magistrate’s Court at Butere in in Succession Cause No. E12 of 2025, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of Abdulrahman Mirimo Wandati, and whereas the said land title deed issued earlier to the Samuel Wandati Chitayi alias Samwel Benson Wandati Chitayi (deceased), has been reported missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with registration of the said instruments of L.R.A. 19 and L.R.A. 7 and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said Samuel Wandati Chitayi alias Samwel Benson Wandati Chitayi (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
