THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS (1) Philip Muasa Kisia and (2) Jacinta Wahu Muasa, both of P.O. Box 98519–80100, Mombasa in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor in freehold ownewship interest of all that piece of land containing 0.04 hectare or thereabouts, known as Mombasa/Mwembelegeza/1555, situate in Mombasa Municipality in Mombasa District, whereas sufficient evidence has been adduced to show that the said land register (deed file) in respect thereof is lost, and whereas all efforts made to locate the said land register (deed file) have failed, notice is given that after the expiration of sixty (60) days from the date hereof provided that no objection has been received within that period, I shall open another land register provided that no objection has been received within that period and upon such opening the land register shall be deemed obsolete and of no effect.
