THE CONSTITUTION
(No. 2 OF 1998)
REGULATION
NOTICE is given to all Members of the County Assembly that
pursuant to Standing Order 32 of the Makueni County Assembly
Standing Orders, on the request of the Leader of the Majority party, it
is notified for the information of Members of the County Assembly
and the general public that there will be special sittings of the County
Assembly which shall be held in the County Assembly Chambers, in
Wote on Thursday, 5th May, 2022 at 9.30 a.m. and Friday 6th May,
2022 at 2.30p.m.
The business to be transacted during the special sittings shall be the
consideration and approval of:-
1. The Makueni County FY 2021/2022 Supplementary Budget
Estimates (2)
2. The Makueni County FY 2021/2022 Supplementary
Appropriation (2) Bill, 2022.
In accordance with Standing Order 32 of the County Assembly
Standing Orders, the business specified in this Notice shall be the only
business before the County Assembly during the Special Sittings,
following which the County Assembly shall stand adjourned until
Monday, 9th May, 2022, at 2.30 p.m. in accordance with the
Resolution of the County Assembly made on Monday, 14th February,
2022.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUBSCRIBERS TO
THE KENYA GAZETTE
THE following notes are for the guidance of persons submitting “copy” for
inclusion in the Kenya Gazette, Supplement, etc.:
(1) The Kenya Gazette contains Notices of a general nature which do not
affect legislation. They are, therefore, submitted to the Government
Printer directly.
(2) Legislative Supplement contains Rules and Regulations which are issued by the National or County Governments. Because of this, they
must be submitted to the Government Printer through the office of the
Attorney–General.
(3) Bill Supplement contains Bills which are for introduction in the
National Assembly, Senate or County Assemblies.
(4) Act Supplement contains Acts passed by the National Assembly,
Senate or County Assemblies.
All “copy” submitted for publication should be prepared on one side of an
A4 sheet no matter how small the Notice is, each page being numbered and should be typed with double spacing. Copy should be clear, legible and contain
no alterations.
Particular attention should be paid to the following points:
(i) Signature must be supported by rubber–stamping or typing the name
of the signatory in capital letters.
(ii) Must be correct and filled in where necessary.
(iii) Care should be taken to ensure that all headings to Notices and references to legislation are up to date and conform with the Revised
Edition of the Laws of Kenya.

A.30 (1) All communication for publication in the Kenya Gazette should
reach the Government Printer not later than Friday of the week before publication
is desired.
(2) A State Department will be required to meet the cost of advertising in the
Kenya Gazette.
It is emphasized that these notes are for guidance only, but it is requested that persons submitting copy for publication first satisfy themselves that such copy is
complete in every respect.
