THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

(No. 3 of 2012)

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS David Kamau Kariuki (deceased), of P.O. Box 5184, Eldoret in the Republic of Kenya, is registered as proprietor of all that piece of land known as Eldoret Municipality Block 21(Kingongo) 3306, situate in the district of Uasin Gishu, and whereas the High Court of Kenya at Eldoret in succession cause No. E27 of 2020, has issued grant of letters of administration and certificate of confirmation of grant in favour of (1) Mary Waruguru Kigara, (2) Ann Wagikuyu Kamau and (3) Joseph Kariuki Kamau, and whereas the land title deed in respect of the said piece of land is lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said land title deed and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of L.R.A. 39 and L.R.A. 42 and issue land title deed in the name of (1) Mary Waruguru Kigara, (2) Ann Wagikuyu Kamau and (3) Joseph Kariuki Kamau, and upon such registration the land title deed issued earlier to the said David Kamau Kariuki (deceased), shall be deemed to be cancelled and of no effect.
