THE LAND REGISTRATION ACT

REGISTRATION

WHEREAS Stephen Mugo Mwendwa (deceased), is registered as proprietor of all those pieces of land containing 0.09 and 0.17 hectare or thereabouts, known as Kyangwithya/Misewani/1297 and 1329, respectively, situate in the district of Kitui, and whereas the High Court at Embu in succession cause no. 4 of 2017 has issued grant and letters of administration to Phyllis Kina Mugo, and whereas the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Stephen Mugo Mwendwa have been reported as missing or lost, notice is given that after the expiration of thirty (30) days from the date hereof, provided no valid objection has been received within that period, I intend to dispense with the production of the said title deeds and proceed with the registration of the said instrument of administration and succession, and upon such registration, the land title deeds issued earlier to the said Stephen Mugo Mwendwa (deceased), shall be deemed as cancelled and of no effect.
