PROPOSED ACQUISITION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 42 (1) of the Competition Act, 2010, the Competition Authority of Kenya excludes the proposed acquisition of indirect control in Poa Internet Kenya Limited by Tech Holdco 1 from the provisions of Part IV of the Act due to the following reasons— (a) The merger will not affect competition negatively; and 17th December, 2021 THE KENYA GAZETTE (b) The combined value of assets of the parties, which is higher than the turnover, for the preceding year, 2020 was KSh. 503, 080, 386.
