THE PRISONS ACT
(Cap. 90)
DECLARATION
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 24 (3) of the
Prisons Act, the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Co-ordination of
National Government declares that for purposes of the Act, the area of
land described in the Schedule shall be a prison:
SCHEDULE
Eldas Prison
An area of land measuring approximately 100 acres acquired
within Wajir County, the boundaries of which are fenced and
particularly delineated on the physical planning Reference No.
2450/2018/10.
