DECLARATION

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25 (1) (b) of the National Museums and Heritage Act, the Minister for Sports, Culture and Heritage declares the building specified in the schedule, which he considers to be of historical interest, to be a National Monument within the meaning of the Act. Any objection to the declaration may be lodged with the Minister within sixty days from the date of publication of this notice. SCHEDULE FORMER RAILWAYS STAFF QUARTERS All that building and the surrounding land measuring approximately 0.48 acres inside geographical co-ordinates 36°48'51.05"E, 10 16'14.30"5. 36°48'51.21"E, 1°16'15.86". 36°48'50.25"E, 1°16'16.58"S. and 36°48'49.54"E, 1°16'15.50" within L.R. No. 209/6439 formally known as Junior European staff quarters, situated along Ojijo Road, Parklands, Nairobi County. Dated the 13th August, 2021. AMINA C.
