IT IS notified for the information of the general public that pursuant to Article 184 of the Constitution of Kenya, section 48 (1) (a) of the County Governments Act, 2012, section 9 (1) and 20 of the Urban Areas and Cities (Amendment) Act, 2019, and section 6 of the Kapsabet Municipal Charter, the Governor, Nandi County transfers the under listed functions to the Municipal Board of Nandi — (a) oversee the affairs of Kapsabet Municipality; (hl develop and adopt policies, plans, strategies and programmes, and set targets for delivery of services; (c) formulate and implement integrated development plan; (d) control land use. land sub-division, land development and zoning by public and private sector, for any purpose within the framework of the spatial and master plans of Kapsabet Municipality; e) promote and undertake infrastructural development services within Kapsabet Municipality; (/1 develop and manage schemes, including site development schemes in collaboration with the relevant national and County agencies; 3258 THE KENY A GAZETTE 23rd July, 2021 CORRIGENDA IN
