THE NAIROBI CITY COUNTY TAX WAIVERS ADMINISTRATION ACT

DECLARATION

NOTICE is given that the County Executive Committee Member for Finance and Economic Planning in exercise of powers conferred by section 5 of the Nairobi City County Tax Waivers Administration Act, 2013, with the declaration and concurrence of the Deputy Governor and Acting Governor shall waive all rent arrears owed by tenants in the County rental houses as at 30th April, 2019. The tenants must now pay rent in full with effect from the 1st May, 2019, failure to which enforcement actions including evictions and impounding of household goods shall commence.
